“Virtual environments, GPS signals, gentrification, psycho-geography, local ecology, and urban decay are some of the themes artists traverse while navigating their relationships with Place.”
– excerpt from festival website
The identity was conceived as a kind of portal of the festival, and was created by skewing the "H" letterform. We created a color pallet to help the identify become malleable as it is applied to various city names where the festival would take place.
These graphic elements enabled the identity to be applicable to any city where the festival would take place, and applicable to digital, printed, and environmental collateral that was needed to promote the festival.
